Hello Operator Online Interview

Hey guys. Hope your all doing well and that you're having a great start to the weekend. Today the band to be featured on the blog are the boys of Hello Operator. Find out more of how they formed and what they would describe their music as here:

How did you guys meet one another?

We met at our local school funnily enough there's 2 brothers in the band but none of us got along.

How was the band name created?

it took inspiration from a Black Keys tune - rumour has it it's from The White Stripes songs but we can assure you it's not- but it is a banger!

How would you describe the music your band creates?

if Queens of the Stone Age had a baby with Reignwolf - then The Black Keys had a baby with Sabbath and Zepplin adopted a baby, and by some musical them 3 met and had a 3 some, we would be the outcome.
Hard enough for the boys but sweet enough for the ladies.

What are some of the themes and messages that come across in your songs?

The main theme is rock n roll will never die. There's love, there's sorrow, there drugs, there's sex. But in every song there's a hidden message which will connect with everyone in their own way. You just have to look hard enough.

What are your plans for 2016?

Big tour we are doing a stretch of this feeling shows and doing a tour with Frankie nd the heartstrings and some festivals which cannot be mentioned as yet.

Where can people find you on social media?

Twitter Facebook and hellooperatorband.com plus Instagram and stuff if you search for us you will find us.

Finally, if there was only one album you could listen to for the rest of your life which one would you choose and why?

We all have separate opinions here:
Pete - rage against the machine - battle of Los Angeles -
Max - Beatles - abbey road (2nd side)
Eddy - 1975 - the 1975
Sam - oasis - what's the story morning glory

The reasoning is probably for us that they are albums we feel changed the way we look at music today.

Thanks to the guys of Hello Operator for answering the questions. If any other bands want to be featured on this blog then please email me at rachelcolley@msn.com and I'll send you the questions. Thanks again to the band.

Hope you enjoyed this blog post,
Rachel.
