She Pulled The Trigger Online Interview

Hey guys. Here's the lads of She Pulled The Trigger with their answers to some of the questions that I sent them plus some extra surprise questions from the band. Read on to find out more:

Where did the band name come from?

'She Pulled the Trigger' is the fight of our lives! "She" stands for the music industry. We are giving our all and we will not stop reaching higher and higher to accomplish our goals!

How did the band members come together?

Chris Zell (lead singer) and Nick Zell (drummer) are brothers who have made music together since they were kids in a band called ZELL. In 2014 they met Patrick Kearney (lead guitar) and his brother Joe Kearney (bass guitar) when their band My Crucible performed with ZELL. Chris and Patrick discovered an irresistible guitar playing chemistry the first time they played together and Patrick became lead guitarist of ZELL. Joe played bass for SPTT in their live "Stand Up and Fight" music video. Patrick's long time friend Ricky became the official SPTT bassist.

What genre do you consider your music?

We call our music hard rock or rock and roll. We notice that a lot of new bands are all basically making up new genre tags for themselves. We are lovers of the tried and true power of rock.

Where do the song ideas come from?

We identify feelings and ideas that we believe make everyone feel stronger and make life more worthwhile.

Does one person write the songs or a group effort?

Chris and Patrick are always creating new guitar riffs together. Then Nick and Ricky play along to the guitar and the band tries different things until they have a perfect song!

Thanks to the boys for answering the questions and making some up of their own. If any other bands want to be featured on this blog please email me at rachelcolley@msn.com and I'll send you the questions. Thanks again to the band.

Hope you enjoyed this blog post,
Rachel.
